>Description:
I have several NTFS partitions mounted with smbfs. When transferring large amounts of data to them (such as with rsync) the connection hangs. When this happens, it is not possible to unmount the partition. The only solution is to reboot. This has been a problem for several years. Please consider fixing it.

>How-To-Repeat:
Mount remote NTFS partitions with mount_smbfs. Transfer large amounts of data to and from those mounted partitions using rsync. Mount will hang and require a system reboot to clear. When this happens, the mounted partition is still accessible from other machines.
