 What would also help - provide some demonstration for the patched
 issues, e.g. port XY does not compile with system gcc because of that
 problem and uses gcc from ports. Such things are good arguments for the
 integration of the patches (as we are quite conservative and most of our
 users don't seem to be bugged by these problems).
