I don't remember what the original discussion about this was but there
were some descrepancies about this being added that broke other
applications. I suppose the thread that was about this was about the
time of the creation of this PR and I remember patching it up myself for
a test on a local system and it turned out horrible with the results
because of unseen side effects. This might be a good thing to keep a
real close eye on in case trouble starts popping up where you least
expect it.
