 this issue has been fixed by hugh in easyedit 1.5.2. the sources can
 be found here: http://mahon.cwx.net/sources/ee-1.5.2.src.tgz
 
 i've mailed ed@ regarding the vendor import. maybe this pr should be
 set into analysed state.
