>Description:
1. K3b cd-burner:

The system was disconnected from the internet for security reasons. After starting k3b from the command line it gave some error messages about missing network connections and from the moment the k3b splash screen appeared the system simply shut down (hardware shutdown of the powersupply). I rebooted the system and the filesystem was damaged and unrepairable. Virtually all installed software gave error messages and were unusable.

2. mounting ntfs partitions with ntfs-3g:

this is a very strange problem: I never had any problems mounting ntfs partitions formatted by windows XP (from the command line, i use blackbox, no kde or gnome under freebsd) but while trying to mount an ntfs partition formatted by windows 7 I got error messages and it simply didn't work. Apparently, microsoft has made some slight changes to the ntfs file system. Anyway, the problem was due to the ntfs-3g software from freebsd because under slackware 13.1 I could flawlessly mount the ntfs partition from the windows 7 install.
>How-To-Repeat:
Every time I started k3b I got the same problem as described above
