>Organization:

>Environment:
>Description:
8.1-RELEASE i386 on a PICMG motherboard produces a "driver bug:
Unable to set devclass (devname: (null))" each time the ISA bus is
probed (kldload of a custom device driver).

After poking in the custom driver it appears that the message is
actually related to the fdc driver.

Setting bootverbose gives the following dmesg snippet:

===
fdc0 failed to probe at port 0x3f0-0x3f5,0x3f7 irq 6 drq 2 on isa0
fdc: fdc-1 already exists; skipping it
driver bug: Unable to set devclass (name: fdc, devname: (null))
===

After booting, the floppy device does not work (no /dev/fd0).

The "driver bug" issue is still present when using an unpatched
GENERIC kernel without anything custom loaded, and seems related
to the probe failure.
