I tried to install FreeBSD-8.1-RELEASE-amd64-dvd1 on the motherboard ASUS MSA78-EM
In normal mode boot FreeBSD-8.1-RELEASE-amd64-dvd1 and ACPI enabled in the BIOS got:

While downloading FreeBSD-8.1-RELEASE-amd64-dvd1 without ACPI and ACPI enabled in the BIOS got:

In normal mode boot FreeBSD-8.1-RELEASE-amd64-dvd1 and off ACPI in the BIOS got:

While downloading FreeBSD-8.1-RELEASE-amd64-dvd1 without ACPI and ACPI off in the BIOS was:

I had to put 8.1-STABLE-201008-enabled ACPI in the BIOS.
