Intel 3945ABG driver breaks the connection after about 10 minutes of inactivity. When that happened, console shows:

wpi_newstate: RUN -> ASSOC flags 0x0

After that, ifconfig wlan0 shows:

        status: no carrier
        ssid em channel 6 (2437 Mhz 11g)
        country US authmode OPEN privacy OFF txpower 0 bmiss 7 scanvalid 60
        protmode CTS

Ofcourse before status was: associated
