>Description:
camcontrol rescan give the error message CAMIOCOMMAND ioctl failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device but I believe that it should work as I believe that the system includes the needed components. Becuae of this problem gnome applications can not access the dvd drive on my acer 5516 laptop.
