FreeBSD fasia.osu.org 7.1 FreeBSD #1: Mon May 11 14:28:14 UTC 2009 root at fasia.osu.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/FASIA i386
>Description:
I met the problem when I began use freebsd 6.1.
Before I use 8-current, I always use i386 version on my Thinkpad T60 with ati x1400 mobility. I compile the kernel with vesa and sc_pixel_mode
When I switch the mode to full 1400x1050 at console, use ls command, the problem appears, the first line is ok, the second line eat first char, the third eat first two chars, etc. For example(ls /bin) : the good
[ df link pwd sleep
cat domainname	ln rcp stty
chflags echo ls realpath	sync
chio ed mkdir red tcsh
chmod expr mv rm test

but it appears:
[ df link pwd sleep
at domainname	ln rcp stty
flags echo ls realpath	sync
o ed mkdir red tcsh
d expr mv rm test

Ehen I use linux vesa console, it's ok
>How-To-Repeat:
Every time I switch to vesa console 1400x1050 mode.
