>Description:
booting DISK1 for FreeBSD-7 installation page faults. Same behaviour with self compiled kernel (after csup to 7, make buildworld, make buildkernel,make installkernel, reboot, so still in the 6er world). Some information I wrote down manually:
Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode
cpuid = 0; apic id = 00
fault virtual address = 0x4
fault code = supervisor read, page not present
(-- stack- und frame pointer, code segment --)
processor eflags = interrupt enabled, resume, IOPL = 0
current process = 20 (irq9: amd0)
trap number = 12
Kernel with no SCSI driver (amd was the only one) boots and works well, but no SCSI of course. SCSI adapter is a TEKRAM DC-390 with Plextor PX20 CDROM, CD writer SANYO CRD-2 and Scanner UMAX ASTRA 1220S.
