Hi,
I found this thing and I do not know if it is a bug.
If I mount an usb hd device (for example mount it under /mnt/floppy)
then:
cat /dev/zero > /mnt/floppy/yy.img
(but it could be any other write operation on the device)
now *without* waiting for that command to finish I remove (unplug) the
usb device and do something else (for example I open another console
with Ctrl+Alt+F2) I get a page fault error. (and computer is frozen)
Ok, before you start think I am mad... I found this in a blackout (my
usb hd switched off and my laptop no)
I am sorry for my english, I hope this mail is understandable.
Luca
PS:
I run a freebsd 7 prerelease updated yesterday with cvsup. my
/etc/make.conf file is empty, so no strange CFLAGS.
