Probably. Do you need me to check for sure?
Do I need to rebuild & reinstall the kernel in order to do that?

P.S. I don't really _need_ to use -pg. I just had some existing Makefiles
that contained that option for some reason that I can't remember now. But
I have removed all of thoise -pg options from the Makefiles now. I only
reported this bug in case _somebody else_ wanted or needed to know about
the bug... not because I personally needed the -pg option to work. (I don't.)
