Synopsis: fstat(1) fails to report certain files

I had this in the past, and fixed it by setting the following in
my /etc/sysctl.conf:

	hw.snd.pcm0.vchans=32

Of course it doesn't resolve the fstat(1) issue, but as Kris said,
that could be a different issue.

Is this issue still happening?
