 english word: the messy combination of two big plants growing against

 I'm not yet sure on how to resolve this...
 
 Except by mentioning that ports/ftp/lukemftp is about to be axed
 in favour of ports/ftp/tnftp, which might be outdated based on the
 contents of the mastersite:
