 A cleaned up version of this patch is now available, with the following 
 changes.
 
  * TUNABLE_INTs added and devfs-cloning behaviour forced ON by default 
 to not violate POLA.
  * style(9) bugs fixed.
  * mdoc(7) bugs fixed.
 
 It has been tested against (and found to resolve) the other PRs attached 
 above.
