I haven't used this card in a long time and i don't know if TX/RX 
checksum offloading is supported in the FreeBSD driver. Just to sum up 
my findings.

Checksum offloading is bugged, even on windows drivers. Disabling 
checksum offloading has always resulted in much better performance.

Also, when you say using "100baseTX-FDX" you mean between the servers 
and not via a switch, right?
