After the upgrade from FreeBSD/i386 6.0R to 6.1R at reboot when IP
configuration is done the link on em0 get lost for about 2 seconds.

Processes starting right after this can not connect to the network, eg.
ntpdate. Even setting the media option in ifconfig_em0 did not help.
