LSI Logic V3 SATA RAID Controller

Hello,

I am having a problem with installing FreeBSD 6.1 on an Acer Altos G320
Server with a LSI Logic V3 SATA RAID Controller.

The raid array consists of 3 80Gb hard drives in a raid 0 configuration
with 64Kb stripes.

FreeBSD correctly detects the RAID controller and the logical hard
drive, and also installs without any errors. Although on boot up (into
the installation cd) it gives the following warning:

lsiv3 > 2 disk support untested!!

Nevertheless, it installs properly.

When I reboot the Server after the installation is complete I get the
following errors from the boot loader:

Not ufs
Not ufs
No /boot/loader

FreeBSD/i386 boot
Default: 0:ad(0,a)/boot/kernel/kernel
boot:
Not ufs
no /boot/kernel/kernel

FreeBSD/i386 boot
Default: 0:ad(0,a)/boot/kernel/kernel
boot:

Even trying the following at the "boot:" prompt doesn't work:

ar(0,a)/boot/kernel/kernel

This line just gives a system beep.
After some more fiddling at the "boot:" prompt I noticed that when I
type in "ad(1,a)/boot/kernel/kernel" it gives me the error:

error 8 lba 0
No /boot/kernel/kernel

Is that anything significant?
And is there any solution to my problem?

Thankyou for any help!

Kind regards,
