>Description:
On SuperMicro SuperServer 5015M-MF with Super PDSMi Motherboard I have problems with drifting (several seconds for several minutes) time on all types of timecounters (TSC,ACPI-safe,i8254) in SMP and non-SMP modes, with acpi enabled and disabled.
Also, with ACPI-safe timecounter there are a lot of messages like:
Jul 4 14:37:34 kernel: calcru: negative runtime of -7736790 usec for pid 12 (swi4: clock sio)
Jul 4 14:37:34 kernel: calcru: negative runtime of -509284 usec for pid 516 (sshd)
Jul 4 14:37:34 kernel: calcru: negative runtime of -624737 usec for pid 421 (ntpd)
Jul 4 14:37:34 kernel: calcru: negative runtime of -1315926 usec for pid 44 (softdepflush)
Jul 4 14:37:34 kernel: calcru: negative runtime of -1018507 usec for pid 32 (irq14: ata0)
Jul 4 14:37:34 kernel: calcru: negative runtime of -1012373 usec for pid 21 (irq16: em0 uhci3)
Jul 4 14:37:34 kernel: calcru: runtime went backwards from 516063 usec to 216547 usec for pid 3 (g_up)
Jul 4 14:37:34 kernel: calcru: negative runtime of -7736785 usec for pid 12 (swi4: clock sio)
Jul 4 14:37:34 kernel: calcru: negative runtime of -509284 usec for pid 516 (sshd)
Jul 4 14:37:34 kernel: calcru: negative runtime of -624737 usec for pid 421 (ntpd)
Jul 4 14:37:34 kernel: calcru: negative runtime of -1315926 usec for pid 44 (softdepflush)
On FreeBSD 7-CURRENT everything is OK, no problems with clock with any of ACPI-safe,
TSC or i8254 timecounters.
ps. I can provide full access to the server, if somebody could resolve the problem.
