              the mousedriver does not find aditional mousebuttons on the psm device which is a synaptics touchpad on a Acer 3002 notebook. The touchpad has 7 buttons  (1 and 2, scroll up/down and left/right)

I can only use the mouse with tipical tap functions and the left and right button. The middle buttons events are not even noticed ( ichecked with xev)

It does not matter if I use moused (with whatever options) and sysmouse or xorg directly and auto or PS/2

When I use hw.psm.synaptics_support="1" the buttons are found and H/V scroll works fine but double-tap and drag does not work anymore.

No difference how I set or not set hint.psm.0.flags at all

When I use as synaptics the keyboard fails ocasionally and does "automatic" key repeating until hitting another key. Independent how key repeat rate is set or even disabled in kde control. Any typical aditional synaptics input device options in xorg are not working at all. The same PC is working fine with synaptics driver on RH-FC4 but has also the keuboard repeat problem but can workaround disabling keuboard repeat rate in KDE.
