kern/106434: SMP problem

 ACPI-1304
 i saw this error and in gnome, there i don`t see any 2 cpu`s  displayed. just one.
 don`t know any other method of finding out if actually the 2 cores work or  not, both, for sure.

 please tell me some commands on finding that out for sure,  this error makes me confused .
