FreeBSD simone.iecc.com 5.4-RELEASE FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE #1: Tue May 31 00:09:50 EDT 2005     johnl at simone.iecc.com:/usr/src/sys/i386/compile/SIMONE  i386

>Description:
The Energy Policy Act of 2005 changed the rules for Daylight Savings Time in the United States. Effective this fall, DST ends on the first Sunday in November rather than the last Sunday of October, and resumes on the second Sunday in March rather than the first Sunday in April. This change may also affect Canada; I'm not sure if they decided to match the US change.

>How-To-Repeat:
$ date -r 1131037000
Thu Nov  3 11:56:40 EST 2005

>Fix:
Update /usr/share/zoneinfo/{EST5EDT,CST6CDT,MST7MDT,PST8PDT}, via whatever file zic creates them from
