touchpad hang, then get slow

Hi freebsd fellow..

I am experiencing a very strange problem..

Sometime under Xorg, my touchpad suddenly hangs for
few second, then when it works again it is slow (as if
I do a 'xset m 1 1')

nothing apear in /var/log/Xsthing nor in dmesg

if I do xset m default it doesn t get back to the
original speed.

If I kill x and xdm or even init and relaunch an
xserver, it is still slow.

At least, can somebody tell me what could I check to
see what is going on ?
