>Description:
Perl acts differently with TCP sockets on fbsd platform then it does do on Linux v5.8.4 built for x86_64-linux-thread-multi

Is there a bsd perl version that handles tcp sockets like the linux perl version does?

>How-To-Repeat:
install streamdb on bsd and login to the telnet console, it won't allow you to enter a username nor pw which results in invalid login and inaccessibility of the controls to the program.
