one of my user's manuals says it is a PCMCIA memory
card reader thataccepts SD, MMC, MS, MS Select,
Memory Stick Duo, .. standard or with MagicGate technology..

i am already luggin around tons of stuff:
1) briefcase
2) backpack
3) puter
i don't want to get more hardware
