>Description:
kldload W70n51_sys works to load the Intel 2100 802.11b driver, but the console session never returns from that command. Other sessions have access to the ndis0 device, and it seems to be able to access WAPs. Problem is identical on 5-STABLE and 6-STABLE, seems to have started with the switch to ndisgen; the previous method of creating NDIS drivers didn't have this problem.
>How-To-Repeat:
Use ndisgen to create the W70n51_sys.ko file from W70N51.INF and W70n51.sys. Copy W70n51_sys.ko to /boot/kernel. kldload W70n51_sys and notice that console prompt never comes back. Switch to another console and verify ndis0 is available. Try ifconfig ndis0 up and down a couple of times until that console no longer responds.
