>Description:
I've got an SBlive! card, using the emu10k1 driver.
Playback works fine.
Recording just produces silence. No errors, no nothing.
H/W and mixer settings are Ok. The mike locally echoes into
the earphones (as it should).
>How-To-Repeat:
Try sound recording on 5.3-beta6/i386 with the emu10k1 driver.
I've been using the audacity and mhwaveedit programs from
ports for recording.
