New Intel based motherboards using the E100 may not detect the ethernet port, one example being the S5102G3NR (2 gigabit ports work, the e100 based 10/100 doesn't)
I'm using 4.9, but 5.1 and 4.10 pre don't support this revision of the chipset either, tried them)
