 Hi,
 
 Just tested it out. Works perfect and saves us a lot of IO on
 a busy mailsystem. Everthing is running faster now. We have approx.
 100 new lines per second in one logfile.
 
 IMHO this patch needs to be part of 5.3, definitly.
