>Environment:
FreeBSD 4.9-STABLE i386, FreeBSD 4.10-BETA i386
>Description:
It's a continuation of
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=31035.
The symptoms are the same, just the system is more up to date.
The problem appears as a hang (though a box can be rebooted
with ctrl-alt-del), after the line of 'Mounting root from
ufs:/dev/idad0s1a' appears from the kernel. Only happens if SMP
is enabled.
My array controler is: Compaq SMART-2/P array controller, thoug it uses the same driver (ida), as the one mentioned in the PR
31035.
Booting with -v as an option doesn't show anything interesting
after the (well, nothing at all) after the line about mounting
root.
>How-To-Repeat:
Enable SMP on a Proliant 1600 with ida driven array controller.
