>Description:
Given a stock GENERIC kernel install, the ipl.ko module fails to
load due to missing PFIL_HOOKS option, therefore the kernel must
be recompiled to enable any kind of ipfilter support.
>How-To-Repeat:
Just kldload ipl on a stock GENERIC kernel.
# kldload ipl
link_elf: symbol pfil_add_hook undefined
Then add PFIL_HOOKS and watch it fly :)
# kldload ipl
IP Filter: v3.4.31 initialized. Default = pass all, Logging = enabled
>Fix:
The following options should be added to GENERIC.
options PFIL_HOOKS
