Oh, this looks very much like it indeed. Sorry, I don't know what exactly I 
looked at ... I've sent my previous message some two weeks ago - and it got 
stuck in a dead mail relay and was returned to me today. I just resent it 
without looking at the Errata again.

I can't update the machine in question to -CURRENT right now, but I will get 
back to this PR once can.
