btw regarding the name "hid_sppd", this makes no sense.. the rfcomm_sppd
program is named thus, because it provides a Serial Port Profile daemon
running over RFCOMM protocol. Your program is not in any way using SPP.

btw there is a Bluetooth soft-keyboard for Linux here
