 the device is a mobile phone (samsung i550).
 
 from your analysis it appears that the device is not following standard
 protocol procedures. i think the _WARN should stay. turning it into a
 _INFO would introduce inconsistency with the other dlci related warnings.
 
 so i guess this PR can be closed.
