In the end, had to rebuild the system as it was from
FreeBSD-13.0-CURRENT-arm64-aarch64-RPI3-20201105-ef87bd449eb.img.xz and
do this
https://cloud.zyxst.net/~john/FreeBSD/current/rpi4b/installing.txt
again.

Is it safe to follow 13-stable yet? Do modifications need to be made to 
the msdos partition?
