Cloning the running system to an sd card

I have found documentation about cloning the running system to an sd card but I'm not too sure I really understood everything. On the face of it, it looks simple, but even so...

Could someone sum up the method I should use for cloning it?

If that may help, the running system is RELEASE-13.0-RC3-arm64.aarch64.
