            Bug ID: 239019
Summary: zfs mount -va in /etc/rc.d/zfs does not work at boot.
           Product: Base System
           Version: 12.0-RELEASE
          Hardware: arm64
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: arm
          Assignee: freebsd-arm at FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: federicogalvezdurand at yahoo.com

In this RPI3 Release image:

ftp://ftp.freebsd.org//pub/FreeBSD/releases/arm64/aarch64/ISO-IMAGES/12.0/FreeBSD-12.0-RELEASE-arm64-aarch64-RPI3.img.xz

% uname -a
FreeBSD rpi3 12.0-RELEASE FreeBSD 12.0-RELEASE r341666 GENERIC arm64

This image (r341666) works quite well for me, but it does not mount ZFS at
boot.

% sudo service zfs start
works fine, zfs_enable="YES" is present in /etc/rc.d.

I can't see any message, in dmesg -a, regarding ZFS failing to mount during
boot.

STABLE images are out there (I haven't tried them) but there is no solution for
RELEASE (tier 2 arch).

Thanks!
Fico.
