My temptation would be to leave swapon -- it basically uses a single
system call, and while I can't remember the circumstances, I have run into
situations where I've really wanted to have swapspace on systems with less
memory.  Recovery operations often pull large amounts of file system
through memory in various forms, which will certainly increase the memory
pressure.

Otherwise, I think things look pretty good.
