ok thanks for the info, am I right then that the security announcements are
not a concern if I have openssl up to date?

I'd say until at least 7.3 is released + the pointyhat queue time for 
devel/apr.

Also I'm on vacation Tonight through Monday.

Unless someone beats me to it (miwi expressed interest) I'd say
the 29 March - 6 of April is reasonable.
