[FreeBSD-Announce] FreeBSD CVSup network shutting down.

The FreeBSD.org CVSup network has received no updates for the last 8 months. 
For the last 4 months the only contents on the cvsup servers was a single 
README.txt file pointing to the archive locations.

It had been previously announced that the infrastructure was being shut down.  
The original planned date was May 31st 2014:


Most of this has now been completed.  Archived copies are still available in:

It is now time to turn off the remaining services.  Please be aware that cvsup 
is rather persistent - If you have forgotten about cron entries or boot time 
startup scripts, it will not give up easily.

CVSup has served us well, but it is time to move on.
