"This is a forum for the discussion and advancement of the use of
the freely redistributable BSD derived operating systems in serious
commercial applications. These applications include industrial
control, inter- and intra- networking, multi media, and embedded
control.

"The list includes discussion of potential markets, the missing
technical and non-technical parts of the systems, and the non-technical
issues required to "sell" *BSD in those markets.  The list does
not include discussions of GNU copyright versus BSD copyright,
condemnation of proprietary applications permitted by the BSD
copyright, or in depth technical discussions better served by
existing lists and newsgroups.

"Although hosted at FreeBSD.org, this list includes all the freely
redistributed BSD derived operating systems."
