how about `HWPMC(4)' ?

I'm running 7-STABLE/amd64, and I have `options HWPMC_HOOKS' in my
kernel configuration, with `hwpmc(4)' compiled as a kld. everything
works fine. But I'm not sure if it will work on i386.
