Asus M2NPV-MX success

Although I know that send-pr is the right way to update the motherboard
compatibility list, I'll just drop a note on this list about success with the
Asus M2NPV-MX board -- that way Google and thus potential users can find it.

The Asus M2NPV-VM is already on the list, described by Bernd Selig. It doesn't
work according to the list in 6.1-R; I'm using 6.2-PRE and the -MX board
(same nForce430, same GeForce 6150) is mostly fine.

Let's take a look at what "mostly" means:

ACPI is fine. Compared to the last NF430 board I bought, where I needed a hex
editor to fix the DSDT.

I have not tried suspending this machine yet, nor using powernow or cpufreq. I
mean, kldload cpufreq recognizes both cores, and then I have no clue what to
do with it.

mbmon gives reasonable temperature values and totally bogus rotation and
voltage reports. nfsmb module loads (hoping to use mbmon -S) but then I don't
know what to do with it.

OHCI and EHCI are fine.

SATA controller is fine; don't have any SATA II drives to try SATA 300 with,
though. Have not tried the nvRAID functionality yet either.

nve is fine. Haven't pushed more than a few GB through it so far moving DVD
rips around, but doesn't seem to have issues.

By using Ariff Abdullah's HDA driver (
http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-current/2006-October/066357.html )
sound works. Tipitina sounds just great.

By patching xorg 6.9.0 with openSUSE's changes I got xorg to recognize the
6150 with the nv driver. Dual head setups seem out of the question though;
I've been searching around and get no end of conflicting reports about it.
