I'm trying to help a colleague get FreeBSD 6.2 running on a Supermicro
X7DBR-8+ (BIOS revision 1.1C) system with dual Xeon 5130 dual-core CPUs
and 4GB of RAM. He was able to run FreeBSD 6.1 from the FreeBSD 6.1
Disc 1 Install CD onto the unit, but of course 6.1's em driver doesn't
support the on-board Intel 82563EB network interfaces, so I've supplied
him with an amd64 SMP kernel built from the RELENG_6 branch checked out
as of November 7 (6.2 prerelease). The SMP kernel is working well on
our X7DBR-8+ system (albeit with only 2GB of RAM), but on his system the
kernel hangs after the message (in verbose mode) "(noperiph:ahd0:-1:-1):
SCSI Reset Delivered. 0 SCBs Aborted" or (not in verbose mode) "waiting
2 seconds for SCSI to settle".

Any ideas? I'm stumped...
