I'm the author of this post... I tried to write a small patch to see what's
happening with it, but it made my system hang as described here
http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-amd64/2005-April/004315.html ! And It
looks like this code has been included in the 6-0 branch :(, that's why you
should use the old 5.x drivers...
