FreeBSD insomnia.shadow.local 5.4-STABLE FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE #11: Sun Oct 23 22:22:25 CEST 2005 root at insomnia.shadow.local:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/INSOMNIA amd64
I build the kernel with snd_emu10k1 device support. When ACPI is enabled and I run 'esd -beeps' it's just noisy. Also playing WAV files with play doesn't work. When ACPI is disabled I can use the soundcard as expected.
-build a kernel on amd64 with ACPI support
-run 'esd -beeps'

do the same with acpi disabled
