before it boots into FreeBSD (at the 10 second countdown), press 6 to go to 
the boot loader.  

When there, type:
set hint.atkbd.0.flags=0x9

FreeBSD 7.0-CURRENT #0: Sat Nov  5 12:12:36 EST 2005
