CD woes...

Has anyone else experienced reboots when using their CD? When I try to
mount/unmount a CD the system seems to just reboot.

dmesg reports the cd-rom as

acd0: CDRW <ARTEC WRR-4848 1.00/1.00> at ata0-master UDMA33

There are no entries written into messages, the system just simply reboots.
