success with GA-K8VNXP but problem with IDE disk

I see the same ID and REV with my VT8237. The weird thing is that
0x05711106 is listed as the ID for the ATA_VIA82C571 in
/sys/dev/ata/ata-pci.h. I wonder if VIA is recycling ID numbers?
Christ, that would be a real PITA!
